Travel essential stores include internationally-known brands and proprietary concepts
ATLANTA – Paradies Lagardère, the travel retail and restaurateur leader in North America, was awarded the STC Retail 1 package at Orlando International Airport (MCO). Paradies Lagardère carefully considered the airport’s objectives and goals, and the needs of its travelers and employees, to develop a concessions program that will create an enhanced customer-focused experience at the airport.
MCO is the first and last impression travelers will have of Orlando, a world-renowned entertainment capital. These exciting new concepts, powerhouse as well as proprietary brands, will give travelers a sense of place, celebrate the region and all it offers, and address basic traveler and airport employee needs.

- TripAdvisor® will serve busy travelers with travel essentials, snacks, newspapers and magazines, and HBA items. In addition to offering travel basics, travelers visiting the store will also be able to utilize the large-scale touch screen in the store to access a curated version of the TripAdvisor website to find exciting things to do in Orlando, as well as the top destinations they can travel to from MCO.
- A Paradies Lagardère exclusive partner, Brighton will offer travelers a beautiful selection of quality women’s accessories, including handbags, luggage and travel accessories, jewelry, fragrance, footwear, and eyewear.
- Sunglass Hut is the premier shopping and inspiration destination for the top brands and hottest trends in eyewear. The MCO store will offer designer brands such as Oakley, Ray-Ban, Versace, Gucci, and Prada.
- A travel essential concept from a historical perspective, travelers will learn a little more about Orlando and the region while visiting Gatlin Trade. The store will offer travelers a variety of snacks, beverages, newspapers, magazines, and HBA items. Offering a new take on the airport travel essential store, items will be displayed to make it easier for travelers to find what they need and check out quickly.
The concepts will also allow customers the convenience of easy pay options such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Mobile POS.
