Paradies Lagardère “Superstars” recognized by The Moodie Davitt Report Awards
ATLANTA, October 18, 2021 – Paradies Lagardère, a leading airport retailer and restaurateur, was recently recognized with five key awards by an inaugural program by The Moodie Davitt Report. The FAB Superstar and Travel Retail Superstar Awards were created to place an important spotlight on the retail and dining frontline and behind the scenes heroes and heroines who have helped keep the airport and travel industry afloat during the pandemic.
Award winners were announced on Friday, the final day of the 2021 Virtual Travel Retail Expo, in the following categories: Star Team, Star Individual, Star Story (Team or Individual), Innovation (Team or Individual), and Humanity, Leadership & Inspiration. Paradies Lagardère earned the following honors:

The MORE campaign relayed to travelers and airports Paradies Lagardère’s dedicated efforts to keep travelers and staff safe and healthy during the pandemic.
Star Story: Crystal Channel, Assistant General Manager, Retail Operations at Portland International Airport
Ms. Channel went above and beyond the call of duty and was recognized by a traveler with a Red Plate, an early American traditional symbol of special praise.

Mr. Paradies’s leadership was evident throughout the pandemic by his strong communication and his visible presence in airports with support for our staff and industry partners.

With restaurants temporarily closed, Paradies Lagardère’s own Chef Patrick Fischer continued to deliver culinary excellence and helpful cooking tips to those at home.

The Vino Volo team delivered special toasts with specific wines to show appreciation of dedicated groups who were so important during the pandemic, including emergency responders, teachers, delivery personnel and many others.
