Paradies Lagardère and Myrtle Beach International Airport Unveil Inaugural Partnership

ATLANTA, June 23, 2021 – Leading airport restaurateur Paradies Lagardère and the Myrtle Beach International Airport officially launched their new relationship with the opening of the Salt & Tide bar concept on Concourse A. This is the first of two locations to open in 2021 as Paradies Lagardère will also open its first Starbucks later this summer.

The introduction of Salt & Tide commences the first concessions agreement between the popular airport and the award-winning airport concessionaire. Present in airports since 1960, Paradies Lagardère now operates either dining or retail, or both, in 100 airports across North America.

“Paradies Lagardère is thrilled to add Myrtle Beach International Airport to our amazing list of airport partners,” said Gregg Paradies, President and CEO. “As travel continues to increase across the country, Salt & Tide’s engaging design and authentic local influences will be the beginning of what we know will be a long and successful partnership, which will expand again in just a few weeks with the opening of our first Starbucks.”

Designed to support an underserved area of the airport, Salt & Tide is a creatively relaxing concept featuring beer from popular local breweries such as New South Brewing, Tidal Creek Brewhouse and Grand Stand Brewing Company. Along with a plentiful menu and a signature to-go cooler with fresh grab and go items, this concept delivers the necessary convenience and service in Concourse A with a comfortable atmosphere that allows travelers to enjoy their time in the airport.

“We are incredibly excited to launch our newest bar concept at Myrtle Beach International Airport,” said Scott Van Moppes, Director of Airports. “Keeping in theme with its name, Salt & Tide is a perfect representation of the laid-back, “coastal” atmosphere travelers enjoy in Myrtle Beach and it is a great place to stop for a drink and relax before your flight.  We thank our partners at Paradies Lagardère for working to launch this exciting new offering just in time for the summer travel season.”
